For the past nine months, we've kept an exciting secret… but now the news is out! Fuggle Treehouse was featured in a short segment on George Clarke's Amazing Spaces!
Our magical treehouse appeared in Series 13, Episode 1 (first aired on Tuesday 25th March on Channel 4) and a lovely recap mention at the end of episode 6. You can watch it now on All 4.
Last summer, the Amazing Spaces team spent a day at One Acre Wood, filming Fuggle Treehouse in all its glory. They interviewed us about the design, craftsmanship, and the inspiration behind this unique retreat, capturing every enchanting detail. We even got to share why we built Fuggle - not just as a dreamy escape, but as an accessible and inclusive space for all.
George Clarke said it is one of his favourite treehouses in the UK!
Watch it now on All 4 starts 26 minutes in.

We’re finalists again! 🎉
We’re delighted to share that One Acre Wood has once again been named as a finalist in the Visit Herefordshire Tourism Awards – and this year we’re shortlisted in two categories.
Last year, our Fuggle and Bramling Treehouses were recognised for their unique approach to Innovative Accessibility, and we were proud to take home the award on the night. To be back in the spotlight again – and in multiple categories – is a real honour for us and a wonderful recognition of everything we’ve built here in the woods.
We’ll be joining fellow businesses at the awards dinner early next year, and we can’t wait to celebrate all the fantastic tourism talent Herefordshire has to offer.
Thank you to our guests, friends and supporters who make One Acre Wood such a magical place – we couldn’t do this without you.
At One Acre Wood, both Fuggle and Bramling treehouses were crafted to provide a truly authentic experience, combining nature, design, and sustainability in perfect harmony.
Built Among Living Trees: Each of our treehouses is thoughtfully integrated with mature trees, elevating the structure and blending with the natural landscape.
Elevated for Unique Perspectives: Perched high above the ground, our treehouses offer breathtaking views and an immersive treetop experience.
Natural, Locally Sourced Materials: We used high-quality, sustainably sourced wood and local materials to build our treehouses.
Sustainably Designed for Low Environmental Impact: Our treehouses are designed with the ecosystem in mind. We used natural clearings with non-invasive construction techniques to protect the trees.
A True Connection to Nature: Our designs allow for sweeping views of the landscape and a genuine sense of being part of the treetops.
The accommodation is light and airy, designed for you to escape into the tree canopy but have all the creature comforts you could want. Fully insulated, double glazed windows, a wood burning stove, and underfloor heating in winter make it a cosy place to stay all year round.
Each treehouse has guest Wi-Fi, good 4G/5G mobile signal strength and a smart TV with apps for Netflix, Prime and Disney (for use with your own login).
The magic of the interior comes to life with a handcrafted spiral staircase at the treehouse centre, built using wood sourced locally in Herefordshire & Gloucestershire.
After exploring the local area, take time to relax in the outdoor bath, or sit around the firepit and watch the stars come out.
With 17 acres of grass meadows, hidden paths, tree swings and picnic benches, there is more than enough room for guests to explore.
From our hillside vantage point you can observe agricultural activities in the surrounding fields, hop yards & orchards.
And, we are a 10 minute walk to the two pubs in the village with food served Wednesday - Sunday.
We have a range of activities and space for children to explore and discover nature: bug hunting, den building, snow sledges (needs snow), grass sledges (needs ground dry & firm), orienteering, nature trails and more.
On wet days when wellies and wet weather gear won't help, use our spacious clubhouse with table tennis, large TV and board games.
Included in your stay, both Fuggle and Bramling have:
We also have the following packages available at a small additional cost
